Dot Liberia Electrical InitiativeIn the fall of 2008, Dot Electric began an initiative to provide electrical training and service to the people of the west African country of Liberia.  Liberia’s recent civil war devastated the country’s infrastructure and power grid, and left most people hopeless, displaced and struggling to survive. The current population, fifty percent of whom are under the age of 17, now works to reclaim and rebuild their country…and with it their hopes.

In early 2009,  Dot Liberia began plans to start an electrical trade school in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, and to initiate and support programs to foster reconciliation among the people there.
